Get to know other mothers and fathers of infants and toddlers! The First UU Infant and Toddler Playgroup has been very active.
In winter we meet inside and in summer we spend time outdoors on the land. Please join us, we look forward to meeting you!

Childcare and developmentally appropriate playtime to develop a sense of belonging in this space is facilitated by professional trained childcare providers and assisted by volunteers. Parents are welcome to stay and participate with their children anytime they wish. Snacks are served.

Children's Choir

For those younger members of our congregation in third grade or higher, the music program offers the Children's Choir. This choir invites our younger members to share in the exciting and diverse choral experiences of First UU's music program. The Children's Choir is scheduled to sing monthly and at special services with the Adult Choir.

Sunday Service Children's Religious Education

When: Sunday mornings, preschool - 5th grade 9:30 and preschool - 12th grade 11:30 a.m.

Children's Religious Education programming consists of participating in the first few minutes of each Sunday morning worship service, participating in classes that involve life issues, spiritual growth, Unitarian Universalist identity and history, Biblical literacy, world religions and the environment and for kindergarten through 5th grade attending a children's chapel at the end of each Sunday morning session. We recruit over 65 volunteers to teach most of our classes. Our professional staff includes an Interim Minister of Religious Education, an Assistant Director of Religious Education, a Childcare Coordinator, Lead Youth Advisor, Lead Preschool Teacher.

To participate in our program we ask that you register your infant, child or youth so we know how many participants we will plan for, so we know how to communicate with you and so we are alerted to anything like allergies. There is no cost for registering your infant, child or youth in our program, but we expect that you will participate in the annual stewardship campaign with as much generosity as is possible.
