The annual goods and services auction/ all congregation party is a wonderful event and a significant fundraiser for our operating budget.. Many goods and loads of services are donated by members and friends of First UU and also by some community businesses. Anything from a week at a Michigan summer cottage to a pet sitter can be purchased either through the silent auction or the live auction. There is a different theme each year and dinner is included in the price of admission. Look for it on the congregational calendar and don't miss it!

Arts and Aesthetics Committee

The Arts & Aesthetics Committee was established in October, 1998 by the Board of Trustees. This committee maintains a written inventory of all art works in the building and is responsible for their planned placement. The plan developed by the committee respects the interior architecture of the building, considers artwork and related donations, and arranges for periodic exhibits of members' and friends' artwork. Visit the Art and Aesthetics Committee's web site to learn about their activities and view displays of art and craft work.

Attention UUAA Artists and Craftspeople...

The Annual Winter Holiday Art and Crafts Sale wants your creations. Bring your work to UUAA anytime between Wednesday, November 2 thru Sunday, November 6. Pieces must be less than 30 inches in any direction. No more than 5 large pieces per artist/craftsperson. Paintings, photos and similar 2D art should be framed.

Then, invite your friends and family to join in the fun of seeing some beautiful works of art and craft. For more information, contact either Vivian Wilson at 734-434-5581 or Ethel Potts at 734-662-3833.
