Kids in the UUAA SGD program


Our Youth Spiritual Growth and Development (SGD) program empowers youth to explore spiritual beliefs and practices from a Unitarian Universalist perspective. SGD is our version of "Sunday School", or "Religious Education".


From September through May, classes are offered during both Services to give students a place to learn and grow. Each grade follows a curriculum that is specific to the student’s life stage. At the 9:30 service, we offer classes for preschool through 3rd grade. At the 11:30 service, we offer classes for preschool through 12th grade. At both services, we have a nursery to look after children younger than preschool age.

Register for Classes

UUAA welcomes children from all backgrounds and abilities, and all are welcome to attend class - even if it is your first day! Parents, please fill out the form below to register your child.

Each year, Spiritual Growth & Development needs almost 100 volunteers! The largest need is for classroom teachers. To learn more about how you could volunteer in the SGD program, fill out the SGD volunteer interest form below.
