Sixth Grade

11:30 am

Neighboring Faiths: Through this longtime favorite class, we invite our young people to learn about other religious groups and then visit them in their services. By experiencing the diversity offered in this curriculum, we enhance those very Unitarian Universalist principles that we so adamantly uphold.

Seventh Grade

11:30 am

Values, Leadership, and Team-Building: Youth develop communication and team-building skills while exploring and discussing individual and community value systems. Connections to Unitarian Universalist traditions and social justice issues will be a foundation for group discussions and projects.

Heeding the Call: Qualities of a Justicemaker: Youth are encouraged to view themselves as agents of change in the world as they develop qualities crucial to justice work. They reflect on their own lives while making connections to the lives lived by others, building self-awareness while growing as leaders.

Eighth Grade

11:30 am

Our Whole Lives (OWL): A comprehensive sexuality curriculum that includes topics such as self-awareness, body awareness, values, language, anatomy, physiology, gender roles, gender equality, and relationship skills. In order to support learning and group trust levels, regular attendance is required. Parent orientation is also required.
