A native Ann Arborite, Lori Fithian has been loosely connected to the UUAA community since the early 90's. She is excited to be more involved as a new member, to work alongside Glen Thomas, and to add a bit of rhythmic fun to the music mix here. Lori facilitates her "Drummunity" programs all over Michigan, drumming with people of all ages in schools, libraries, camps, faith communities, conference rooms, elder homes, peace marches and more. She's been drumming as long as she's been able to bang a wooden spoon on a tupperware salad bowl, and has been leading drum circles since 1998. A french horn player since 5th grade, she also plays a bit of piano, guitar, flute, and anything else that comes along.
