Services

Sunday Services are held at 9:30 am and 11:30 a.m. September through mid-May. Summer months, we have a single service at 10:00 am. Services typically include the lighting of the chalice, readings from inspirational sources, music and singing, time for meditation and a sermon (upcoming sermons).

Orientation

As you arrive, greeters will welcome you, answer your questions, and guide you to the Sanctuary for the service or to the Religious Education classrooms to drop off your children. The greeter will also show you where the Social Hour and Newcomers' Welcome sessions are held.

Children

Children in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade take part in the beginning of the services in the Sanctuary and then continue on to Religious Education classes in the RE wing. Younger children typically go directly to the nursery or preschool classes before the service begins. Religious Education Classes for 6th through 12th grade are offered in the second service only.

Social Hour

Visit our Coffee Hour in the social hall after each service. Here you can get a glimpse of the various groups that are active in our congregation, check out our bookstore, and most importantly, you can get to know our congregants.

Newcomer Welcome and Orientation Sessions

Get your questions answered at the Newcomers' Welcome Session held after each service. We have a 15-minute Newcomers' Welcome with coffee and donuts in the Redman Board Room (second door on the left as you leave the Sanctuary). One of our congregants is there to answer your questions and provide you with information material that you can take home with you. Stop by even if you don't have specific questions. This is an opportunity to start finding your connections here.

What to Wear

Dress is casual or dressy-your choice. Like our faith, it is your personal choice. Children are encouraged to wear play clothes because many RE activities take place outside.

Meeting Your Needs

Options for young children during the service include a glassed in Parent-Child Room located in the back of the Sanctuary. The ushers can also provide you with a children's activity bag. Other options for children include our nursery run by a trained childcare specialist and Religious Education classes, which are in session during most services.

Sound amplification devices are available for all services in the Sanctuary and an ASL interpreter can be provided with advanced notice.

Our building is wheelchair accessible.

Don't hesitate to ask our ushers or greeters for assistance.
