Prison Books Program on Pause
Thank you to many UUAA congregants who have emailed and phoned about our Prison Books program. Unfortunately the program is inactive at the moment...our storage area is locked, our volunteers are sheltering in place, and the prisons are not accepting books because of COVID-19 precautions. You can let us know at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. if you'd like to be added to our email group (used only to provide news and find volunteers for our work).
UUAA Draft Mission Statement
At our congregation's 2020 Annual Meeting in May, the Board of Trustees introduced a draft set of statements for UUAA's mission, vision and purpose. The statements were created by members of the Board, Vision Leadership Team, UUAA staff, and our Vision 20/50 consultants. They were endorsed by the Board in May. Please watch for information on how all congregants can provide feedback on the statements. Members will vote on adoption at a later congregational meeting. Please take time to read and think about these draft statements of UUAA Mission, Vision and Purpose.
