Our Youth Spiritual Growth and Development (SGD) program empowers youth to explore spiritual beliefs and practices from a Unitarian Universalist perspective. SGD is our version of "Sunday School", or "Religious Education".

COVID Parenting Adult SGD class

Saturday, 10/10, 3:00pm - 4:00pm.

Parents are facing deep uncertainty regarding daily decisions about their children. Questions about health, community, screen time, and schooling are complex and layered, leaving parents with anxiety about their children's mental and physical health.

We invite all parents to join nurse practitioner at Liberty Pediatrics, Kyla Boyse, RN, CPNP, to discuss these critical questions about our childrens' welfare.

What does the UUAA kids program look like when we can meet in person?

In non-pandemic times, from September through May, classes are offered during both (in-person services) to give students a place to learn and grow.

Each grade follows a curriculum that is specific to the student’s life stage. At the 9:30 service, we offer classes for preschool through 3rd grade. At the 11:30 service, we offer classes for preschool through 12th grade. At both services, we have a nursery to look after children younger than preschool age.

Each year, Spiritual Growth & Development needs almost 100 volunteers! The largest need is for classroom teachers. To learn more about how you could volunteer in the SGD program, fill out the SGD volunteer interest form below.
